The University System of Maryland Board of Regents recommended the University of Maryland reinstate head football coach DJ Durkin and keep athletic director Damon Evans in his position, Board of Regents chair James T. Brady announced during a news conference in Baltimore Oct. 30.

University president Wallace Loh, who announced he will step down from his position in June 2019, will implement the Board's recommendations.
