Former Towson safety Jordan Dangerfield's journey to the NFL included eating hotel breakfasts of microwavable eggs and pancakes before cramming into a team van that took him on an hour-long, traffic-filled ride to get to Brooklyn Bolts practice.
His faith in making it to the professional ranks never wavered despite playing in the Fall Experimental Football League, which tried to become the NFL's development league but folded after three years.
On Nov. 4, after going from undrafted free agent five years ago to multiple NFL practice squad experiments thereafter, Dangerfield will suit up again for the Pittsburgh Steelers when they take on their AFC North rival Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.
