After a week of turmoil off the field surrounding former head coach DJ Durkin, interim head coach Matt Canada and the Maryland football team fell to Michigan State 24-3 on Saturday with a season-worst offensive output.

After an historic performance last week against Illinois that included 63 points and 712 total yards of offense, the Terps came crashing back to reality with another poor offensive showing. Maryland posted 100 total yards against the Spartans, fewer than their previous season-low of 115 yards against Iowa.
