DLA Piper announced today that Ariel Diamond has joined the firm’s Telecom practice as an associate in Washington, DC.
Diamond joins the firm from the Federal Communications Commission, where she worked in the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau’s Broadband Division as part of the agency’s Attorney Honors Program. She had previously interned in the Office of FCC Chairman Wheeler and at Layer3 TV.
In addition to Diamond, DLA Piper's Telecom practice, part of the firm's global Intellectual Property and Technology practice, has made a number of additions in recent months, including associates Angela Demahy and Peter Shroyer, who also joined from the FCC.
Diamond earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Colorado Mesa University.
