Navy snapped a seven-game losing streak Nov. 17 with a 37-29 victory against Tulsa who have lost none of their last 10 games. The Midshipmen used 389 rushing yards against the last-place Golden Hurricane, to move ahead of them in the West Division of the American Athletic Conference. Navy is now 3-8 on the year, including 2-5 in the AAC with two regular-season games remaining.
Here are five things we learned:
1. Zach Abey got his third straight start at quarterback and was effective running the triple-option offense. Navy coach Ken Niumatalolo might be second-guessing himself for not starting Abey all season.
