GoKart Labs, a tech, design studio and digital agency working in healthcare, finance and education, has promoted Amee Mungo to director of client services.

Mungo previously worked within the company as the East Coast client strategy lead, where she focused on client digital transformation and product strategy, client development and new business development, according to her Linkedin. In her new role as the director of client services, Mungo will be working on building GoKart Labs’ client leadership team and growing new and existing client relationships on the East Coast.

John Hynes has been appointed CEO of Applied Insight, a company that designs solutions to help the federal government solve tech problems. Hynes joins the Ashburn, Va.–based team with more than 28 years of experience growing mission-oriented technology companies that support the intelligence, defense and federal civilian communities, the company said in a statement. Hynes graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in economics before attending George Washington University to obtain his master’s degree in management information systems. He currently sits on the advisory board of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance and serves on the board of the Capital Area Food Bank.
