Denver Radio Host Alfred Williams Likes Joe Flacco Deal For Broncos

2/19/19

Alfred Williams, a former NFL linebacker who's now a host on Denver's 104.3 The Fan, thinks the Joe Flacco trade is a good deal for the Broncos.

"The goal should be to find a quarterback who's going to lift everyone's play," Williams told Glenn Clark Radio Feb. 14. "I think Joe Flacco is that person."

Williams, or "Big Al," played nine seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, San Francisco 49ers and Broncos. The 6-foot-6, 265-pound former All-Pro won back-to-back Super Bowls with the Broncos in 1997 and 1998.

The Ravens reportedly agreed to trade Flacco to Denver for a fourth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft Feb. 13. The deal will be finalized when the new league year begins March 13.
