CBS Analyst Dan Bonner: Containing Anthony Cowan Key To Stopping Terps

Maryland dropped a highly anticipated home game to Michigan March 3, a result that seemingly left more questions than answers about the strength of this year's team. The loss came on the heels of an ugly 78-61 road loss at Penn State Feb. 27, and it leaves Maryland 2-5 against the top four teams in the conference.

Cold shooting stretches have become a theme for the Terps throughout recent years, and the game against the Wolverines March 3 was no exception. Maryland scored just two points in the final 7:11 of the first half and had another scoreless stretch of nearly five minutes in the second half.

College hoops analyst Dan Bonner, who called the game on CBS, pointed to junior guard Anthony Cowan's struggles as a reason for the Terps' sluggish offensive effort.
