It always take a bit of getting used to routines during my first day and a half at spring training. I drove early March 7 to Bradenton, Fla., and when I asked when manager Brandon Hyde would talk to the media, I was informed by my friend Rich Dubroff that he spoke at 11 a.m. in Sarasota. Then I took my time after the game to stroll over to the area for postgame and was late for that.
Oh, well. It's day two, and speaking of getting used to things, the Boston Red Sox are in Sarasota and it's going to take a while to get used to the late Nick Cafardo not being around whenever we bump into the Sox from Boston. Rest in peace, Nick.
So as I get settled in, I thought I'd get my 2019 MLB Power Rankings started with my first mock of 2019. No commentary yet, but I'll let you see my first 2019 rankings, along with where each team finished in my rankings at the end of the 2018 season.
