Fantasy Baseball Risers, Fallers: April 1, 2018

After all the research throughout the last month and possibly multiple fantasy baseball drafts, it feels good that the season is finally here. As we have the last few years, we will start the week looking back at the players who performed well and those who didn't. This week is different since most teams have only played three games, but we will still look and see what has happened.

Three Up:

1. Seattle Mariners Outfielder Domingo Santana -- We spotlighted the outfielder as a bounce-back candidate in the preseason, and he has started the season strong. Santana has three home runs and 10 RBIs already and, surprisingly, two stolen bases. Santana hit 30 home runs in 2017, but was squeezed out of playing time in 2018 due to the Brewers' outfield glut. This led to a trade to the Mariners, which opened up playing time once again for Santana. Fantasy owners can't expect many more stolen bases, but the power should continue and I'm hoping we get the 30-homer threshold once again.
