Jeshaun Jones: HC Mike Locksley Has 'Great Plan' For Terps

Last month, ESPN released a 64-team college football bracket, and Maryland ranked as a lowly No. 16 seed. But rising sophomore wide receiver Jeshaun Jones believes this year's team is capable of great things under new head coach Mike Locksley.

Locksley worked at Alabama for the past three seasons and served as the offensive coordinator for the Crimson Tide in 2018. Previously, he was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Maryland from 2012-2015. He worked as the interim head coach in 2015 after Randy Edsall was fired.

Maryland went 5-7 last year under interim coach Matt Canada, who was tasked with leading the team after former head coach DJ Durkin was placed on leave and later dismissed. Locksley was hired in December, and the Terps began spring practices under Locksley in March.
