Phil Savage: Lamar Jackson, New Receivers Can 'Grow Up Together'

The Ravens' 2019 draft class has received a lot of positive feedback from analysts and fans alike, and both groups mostly believe the team filled many glaring holes in its roster.

The Ravens' strategy of selecting wide receivers was particularly intriguing, as they have historically not had success at drafting that position. They took a chance in this year's draft though by selecting Oklahoma's Marquise Brown with the No. 25 overall pick and Notre Dame's Miles Boykin in the third round.

"It certainly seemed like they wanted to add more speed to the table, clearly at the wide receiver position," former Ravens executive Phil Savage said on Glenn Clark Radio April 29. "... They're going against the odds of the Ravens' lack of success at taking wide receivers."
