Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, today announces the launch of a new US initiative to drive further innovation thought leadership and engagement among associate lawyers and non-lawyer professionals in the creation and promotion of novel solutions to business processes.

The new program provides participating lawyers and professionals credit for the invested time directed toward advancing innovation initiatives directed toward enhancing client service and operational excellence. Dentons US introduces this initiative following conversation with and feedback from associates and professionals eager to contribute to the variety of Dentons innovations developed through technology and in streamlining processes for the benefit of the Firm and its clients. Long recognized in this area in both media profile and industry awards, Dentons is among the most lauded law firms for innovation.

Associate lawyers and managing directors will propose ideas for exploration, and participate in sponsored pilot projects that are already being vetted. Examples of the type of work involved may include applying artificial intelligence to contract analysis, refining and customizing new deal room software, or examining and streamlining workflow automation. Those involved will be encouraged to take a fresh look at current both client and internal processes, and propose methods to eliminate inefficiencies and, ultimately, generate improvement and more client benefit.
