Here are this week's local men's lacrosse power rankings:

Division I:

1. Towson (11-4, No. 6 seed NCAA Tournament)

Previous Game: Defeated Drexel, 16-14, to win the CAA championship

Spotlight: Co-Offensive Player of the Year Brendan Sunday finished with three goals against Drexel. The senior was named as the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.

Next Up: Hosts at-large Maryland in the first round of the NCAA Tournament May 12

2. Johns Hopkins (8-7, unseeded in NCAA Tournament)

Previous Game: Lost Big Ten championship to No. 1 Penn State, 18-17, in overtime

Spotlight: Freshman Joey Epstein (Landon) had seven goals and two assists. Epstein broke the Johns Hopkins single-season record for points by a freshman with 67 points (45 goals, 22 assists)

Next Up: At No. 7 Notre Dame (8-6) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament May 12
