The Armed Services YMCA is happy to announce the appointment of Lauren Stevens, Vice President and Program Manager, Global Hawk UAS, Autonomous Systems Division for Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, to its Board of Directors.

"We are very excited to welcome Lauren to the ASYMCA Board of Directors," said President/CEO Armed Services YMCA William French. "Lauren is a strong leader in program management, program execution, functional leadership, employee engagement and much more. Her expertise will be invaluable as we continue to serve more junior enlisted service members and their families."

She is responsible for the continuing development, production, delivery, sustainment and operational support of the RQ-4 Global Hawk unmanned aircraft system, the provider of persistent intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance information for domestic and international customers.

Previously, Stevens was the Director of the Program Integration Team within the Strike Division, responsible for day-to-day Program & Division operations while ensuring the integrity and executability of the program baseline through horizontal integration and disciplined execution of change management. Stevens was also responsible for standing-up and executing-on all facilities, resource fulfillment & IT infrastructure requirements in support of program objectives.

Prior to her PIT role, Stevens was responsible for multiple game-changing development programs on both the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye and the B-2 Bomber. Stevens was responsible for a portfolio of capability upgrades that expand the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye's Battle Management Command and Control mission for the U.S. Navy. Prior to working on that program, Stevens was the Defensive Management System Modernization program manager for the B-2. Stevens conceptualized the ACAT-1D program, initiated the creation of the effort as a rapid acquisition new start, and helped secure Department of Defense support for the program.

Stevens received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles and her Master of Business Administration from the University of LaVerne at LaVerne, Calif. She holds a Systems Engineering certification from Cal Tech at Pasadena, Calif. Lauren lives in San Diego with husband Chuck and daughter Madeline.
