New Maryland wrestling head coach Alex Clemsen is known as one of the top recruiters in the country.
During the course of a 10-year career that included stints at Missouri and Virginia, the first-time head coach has shown he has a knack for attracting top-tier talent. He helped build eight top-20 recruiting classes -- three of which were in the top-10 -- and many of those players developed into NCAA qualifiers, All-Americans and conference champions.
Now, as he enters his inaugural season with the Terps as the leader of his own program for the first time in his career, he faces the challenge of guiding Maryland out of the basement of wrestling in the Big Ten.
