Richmond-based Union Bankshares Corp. rebranded itself on the same day it completed the integration of a key piece of its expanded footprint.
On Monday, Union Bankshares became Atlantic Union Bankshares Corp., and its banking subsidiary changed its name from Union Bank & Trust to Atlantic Union Bank.
The company’s NASDAQ ticker symbol switched from UBSH to AUB.
Atlantic Union’s wealth management and brokerage operations and the former Middleburg Trust Co. businesses are now under the Middleburg Financial brand.
