Orioles Relief Prospect Tyler Erwin A Steady Riser Through Farm System

For Orioles lefty relief prospect Tyler Erwin, the dream of reaching The Show has become a very real possibility.

Since being drafted in the 23rd round of the 2016 MLB Draft out of New Mexico State, Erwin has risen steadily through the farm system, making stops at Short Season-A Aberdeen, Low-A Delmarva, High-A Frederick and most recently Double-A Bowie.

"I think the main thing for me is just trying to be consistent," Erwin said on Glenn Clark Radio June 12. "If I can be as consistent as possible, I think I put myself in a good standing when I'm on the mound. And then just kind of staying with my keys from my game, [such as the] different pitches that are working that day. I would say those two main aspects are the biggest things for me when I'm kind of feeling right, and when I'm going right on the mound."
