Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, today announces the addition of Polly Lawrence as a senior policy director. Lawrence, who is a former State Representative of Colorado, joins the Firm’s award-winning Public Policy practice, where she will provide counsel on Colorado’s state government affairs.

Lawrence was elected as a Colorado State Representative for three two-year terms. During her tenure, she served as House Republican Whip and provided leadership in several key areas, including developing caucus positions on bills, orchestrating floor debates and preparing members to articulately present bills to the full House on second reading. She also served as Assistant Minority Leader and drove critical House activities, which included crafting thoughtful and stakeholder-informed policy, managing election fundraising efforts and leading business and industry leader outreach.

In addition to her experience in the public sphere, Lawrence led operational efforts for an award-winning heavy civil construction and infrastructure development company and served as a legislative liaison for the Colorado Contractors Association. She earned her BFA from Colorado State University.
