Fantasy Baseball Waiver-Wire Targets: June 28, 2019

It has been a noteworthy week in fantasy baseball, as New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton is hurt once again and will be out until August due to a knee injury. The Chicago Cubs activated closer Craig Kimbrel and he will give fantasy owners a big boost. It also appears Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson will be sidelined for a while due to an ankle injury.

Waiver-Wire Targets:

Milwaukee Brewers Second Baseman Keston Hiura -- The 22-year-old was part of the big wave of prospects promoted in May, but his stay didn’t last long and he was demoted to Triple-A. However, the infielder is back and should get an extended look, which is great news for fantasy owners. Hiura can flat out hit and has power as well. He will even chip in with some stolen bases, so he is a main priority this week off the waiver wire. The youngster is only 28 percent owned in Yahoo! Sports leagues so he's there for the taking.
