Former Orioles catcher and current MASN analyst Rick Dempsey believes Dylan Bundy's preparation during the offseason is hindering the one-time highly-touted Orioles pitching prospect's ability to reach his ceiling.
After being selected in the 2011 MLB Draft as the No. 4 overall pick out of Owasso High School (Okla.), Bundy was considered one of the crown jewels of the Orioles' farm system. However, since then, things have not necessarily panned out for Bundy and the Orioles.
Dempsey, currently a pre- and postgame analyst on "O's Xtra," has the utmost respect for Bundy, but believes his offseason training isn't keeping him in shape for when the season rolls around.
