For former Ravens fullback and Super Bowl champion Vonta Leach, the decision to sign a one-day contract July 26 and retire with the purple and black was an easy one and something that meant a lot to him.
"Green Bay gave me my first opportunity, Houston is where I made my name and Baltimore is where I won my ring at and I was embraced the most at," Leach told Glenn Clark Radio July 29.
The fullback is becoming less and less prevalent in the modern NFL, but Leach was one of the best at the position during his 10-year NFL career. During his career, Leach was selected to the Pro Bowl three times (2010-2012) and was voted first team All-Pro during those same three seasons.
