Former University of Maryland quarterback and recently-appointed Terps radio color analyst C.J. Brown is excited not only about his new position, but the direction the program is headed under first-year head coach Michael Locksley.
Brown, a Cranberry Township, Pa., native, began his tenure with the Terps in 2009 as a redshirt freshman before earning the starting nod to start in the 2010 campaign. Brown accumulated 5,372 yards and 33 touchdowns through the air from 2010-2014. He missed the 2012 season due to an ACL tear, a noncontact injury suffered during preseason.
For Brown, being able to come back to the place he once called home as a color analyst on the Maryland Sports Radio Network is special. He will be joining legendary play-by-play broadcaster Johnny Holliday and analyst LaMont Jordan in the booth. Brown even spoke with Locksley, his former offensive coordinator, before taking the job.
