Baysox Infielder Jesse Valentin On Lessons Learned From Big-League Father

Growing up, Double-A Bowie Baysox infielder Jesmuel "Jesse" Valentin saw the inside of his fair share of major-league clubhouses.

His father, Jose, a 16-year MLB veteran who played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets, often brought his son to mingle with his teammates throughout the years. Jesse built relationships with players like former Orioles second baseman Roberto Alomar when he was with the White Sox and former Mets shortstop Jose Reyes.
