Fox Sports college football analyst and former running back Spencer Tillman has only high praise for Michael Locksley's ability to bring in talent for the Maryland football program.
Locksley served as the running backs coach at Maryland from 1997-2002 and the recruiting coordinator for the last five of those years, so he has perfected his craft as a recruiter for more than 20 years.
"I can tell you this, there's a saying that we used to have for Mack Brown, who was a great recruiter, and it applies to Locksley. He can convince a shark that the desert is the best place to be," Tillman said on Glenn Clark Radio Sept. 24. "I guarantee you, he's that good."
