Justin Ilhwan Park
DLA Piper announced today that Justin Ilhwan Park has joined the firm's Patent Litigation practice as a partner based in Washington, DC.
Park has a global practice focused on advising Asia-based companies, particularly in South Korea. This includes representing multinational corporations in actions in federal district, appellate and state courts, as well as in international arbitration and mediation.
"Justin has close professional and personal ties to South Korea, where he was born and raised. That combined with his deep intellectual property and litigation experience, make him a fantastic resource for clients based and doing business in Asia," said Ann Ford, US chair and global co-chair of DLA Piper’s IPT practice.
"As we continue to grow our patent litigation capabilities in Washington, DC, Justin's international practice will be an excellent addition to our team," said Jeff Lehrer, managing partner of the firm's Washington, DC, office. "The depth and breadth of our global platform, including our presence in offices across the globe, will benefit his clients immensely, and we are pleased to welcome him on board."
Park joins from Mayer Brown LLP. He received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and his LL.B. from Korea University.
