DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Jonathan Haray, a Litigation partner in the firm’s Washington, DC office, has been named by the National Law Journal as a 2020 Criminal Law Trailblazer. The award series recognizes “legal professionals who have made significant marks on the practice, policy and technological advancements in their sector.”

Describing him as a “forceful advocate” in the courtroom, the editors noted Haray has tried more than 50 jury and bench trials. The publication highlighted Haray’s recent successful resolution with the SEC on behalf of Telefônica Brasil, observing that sometimes the most effective advocacy involves keeping a case from reaching trial.

Haray represents corporations and individuals in government investigations, securities and regulatory enforcement matters, and white-collar litigation, and counsels clients on Foreign Corrupt Practice Act and other compliance issues.
