Katie Hyman
Rimon is proud to welcome Katie Hyman as a Partner in its Washington D.C. office. She joins Rimon from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Ms. Hyman is the 19th partner to join the firm so far this year.
Ms. Hyman is widely experienced in international dispute resolution, including multijurisdictional, offshore, and investor-state matters. She practices out of New York, is admitted as a special legal consultant in the District of Columbia, and is qualified as an English Solicitor, expanding Rimon’s presence in England and Wales, which currently includes partners Richard Ernest, Federico Salinas, and Sam Miller.
At Rimon, Ms. Hyman joins an experienced and rapidly expanding team of attorneys focused on international dispute resolution and cross-border transactions, including Partner Stephen Diaz. The firm is focused on growing its international capabilities and has recently opened new offices in Dubai, Moscow, Warsaw, Sydney, and Shenzhen. Rimon represents clients around the globe in complex local, national, and multinational commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border investments, as well as in high-profile disputes, the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, international tax considerations, and more.

Ms. Hyman is a member of Victoria Associates, an elite international arbitration practice group comprised of international arbitration specialists, which enhances her practice and ability to serve clients with transnational disputes. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and accepts arbitrator appointments in addition to her practice as counsel.
Ms. Hyman earned an LL.M from the Georgetown University Law Center, a GDL and LPC from BPP Law School, and a B.A. from the University of Leeds.
