Morris McCrary
The Virginia law firm Gentry Locke is pleased to announce that Morris (Max) McCrary has joined the firm’s Roanoke office as an associate in the firm’s business and commercial law practice. McCrary is the latest addition to the office, following the arrival of real estate Partner Jean D. Mumm earlier this month.
McCrary assists clients with a broad spectrum of matters related to corporate operations, commercial and real estate transactions, mergers, acquisitions and environmental risk management issues. He has experience with employment and subscription agreements, disclosure schedules, award letters, board consents, limited liability company agreements, and environmental compliance investigations and enforcement actions. Prior to entering private practice, McCrary served as a judicial extern for the Lynchburg Circuit Court.
He earned his J.D. from the Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he served as the lead articles editor for the Washington & Lee Law Review. He earned his B.A. in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia. He joins the firm from Alston & Bird LLP in Charlotte.
