Blake Nelson
Reston-based software and systems engineering contractor Pragmatics Inc. has hired Blake Nelson as vice president and general manager.
With more than 25 years of experience, Nelson was most recently the cloud strategic solutions-DOD cloud practice lead with Arlington-based Accenture Federal Services. In his new role, he will work with the company’s business development team and technology solutions group on the adoption of DevSecOps, big data analytics platforms, advanced analytics visualizations and cloud capabilities.
“Blake is a seasoned leader whose background and experience greatly enhances Pragmatics’ leadership team,” Pragmatics CEO Long Nguyen said in a statement. “He will accelerate the momentum in driving high-quality deliveries to our existing clients while developing new growth across federal agencies.”
