Dentons Appoints Brad Queisser as Principal

Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces today that Brad A. Queisser has joined the Firm’s Public Policy practice as principal. Resident in the Washington, DC, office, Queisser will focus his work in Dentons’ federal advocacy practice.

With more than 30 years of experience and extensive networks, Queisser joins Dentons from a public affairs firm, where he served as senior vice president on its federal relations team. In that role, he represented a diverse set of clients at all levels of government and business throughout the US. Previously he was president at mCapitol Management. Queisser also served as director of government relations in private practice, where he was responsible for managing federal, state and local government advocacy for clients on issues including transportation, energy, engineering, construction, procurement and real estate.

Queisser has held several positions within the Democratic National Committee, including deputy executive director and senior advisor to the president of the 2000 Democratic National Convention Corporation, and as a member of the Gore-Lieberman Recount Committee. He has represented the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee and the startup of the 2004 Democratic National Convention Corporation. Prior to his assignments in Washington, Queisser served as director of finance and operations for the Indiana Democratic Party and has worked on numerous political campaigns.

While in Indiana, Queisser served in the administration of Governor Bayh, including his service as the assistant director of the White River State Park Development Commission, a quasi-state agency developing a 64-acre urban-state park in downtown Indianapolis. In 2013, Queisser received the prestigious Hamilton-O’Bannon Award, named for Governor O’Bannon and US Congressman Lee Hamilton, for “outstanding leadership, service and dedication” to the Indiana Democratic Party.

Queisser received his BA in political science from Indiana University. He is a member of the board of directors of the Indiana Society of Washington, DC, and is a member of the Washington-based Indiana Forum.
