Chesapeake Contracting Group (CCG) announced this week the appointment of Brian Murphy as Project Executive in the newly opened Northern Virginia office. Murphy’s primary responsibilities will be managing projects, developing strategic program and project goals, and monitoring project performance as well as building and managing relationships and partnerships with key clients.
CCG Vice President Michael Wildey explained “We are delighted to welcome Brian to our team. His extensive experience and expertise will play an integral role in the success of our NOVA office.”
Prior to joining CCG, Murphy worked for sixteen years in leadership positions at Paradigm Construction Company, managing approximately $250 million in concurrent projects with many ventures in Northern Virginia, Maryland and DC.
Murphy earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a concentration in Construction Management from The Catholic University of America. Brian is an active member of ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) and the Izaac Walton League national conservation organization.
