DeRose was most recently a director at Lockton Companies, where she led deal teams in advising clients on transaction risk insurance.

With more than 15 years of experience as a transactional attorney and as an underwriter and broker of transaction risk insurance, DeRose provides legal and strategic advice to clients on the effective use of representation and warranty insurance and other transaction risk insurance products. Her practice also includes representing private equity sponsors and corporate clients in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and other complex transactions. She advises clients in a wide range of industries, including aerospace and defense, technology, financial services, automotive, retail, manufacturing, and healthcare. She earned her B.S.E., summa cum laude, and M.S.E. from the University of Michigan and her J.D. from New York University School of Law.
