Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of four leases totaling 21,551 square feet of retail space in the metropolitan Richmond, Virginia market. Negotiations were handled by the Richmond office of DRE.

Auto Zone renewed its lease for 12,935 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and –managed 360 West Shopping Center located at 7222 Hull Street Road in Richmond. AutoZone is the nation's leading retailer and a leading distributor of automotive replacement parts and accessories with more than 5,000 stores in US, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Brazil. Other tenants in the center include: Rite Aid, Dollar General, Subway, and Jackson Hewitt. DRE’s Sara Goodall represented the landlord, 360 West Shopping Center, in the lease negotiations.

Audio Express leased 4,016 square feet of retail space in the Dobbs Building located at 400 Southpark Boulevard in Colonial Heights, Va. Audio Express operates three other locations: on Midlothian Parkway and Broad Street in Richmond and in Raleigh, North Carolina. The company is a retailer of automotive sound, navigation and entertainment systems. DRE’s Read Goode and Cheryle Toy represented the tenant in the lease negotiations with the landlord, Rosyln Farm Corporation.

Liberty Tax leased 2,400 square feet of retail space in the Midlothian Crossing Shopping Center located at 8523 Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond. Liberty Tax Service is headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia and continues to expand, offering personal income tax service and more in an ever-growing list of locations nationwide, including 4,000 Liberty Tax Service offices in the United States and Canada. Goodall represented the landlord, RCC Midlothian Crossing, LLC, in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in the shopping center include: Big Lots, Goodwill, Family Dollar, and Red Wing Shoes.

Pure Barre leased 2,200 square feet of retail space in Alverser Retail Shops located at Alverser Drive and Huguenot Road in Richmond. This is the third location in the Richmond market for the barre fitness company. With more than 370 studios, Pure Barre is the largest, most established barre franchise in North America. DRE’s Brett McNamee and Ali Newton represented the tenant in the lease negotiations with the landlord, Old Buckingham Associates, LLC.
