-- Dollar Tree and Fitness Evolution to Locate in Former Safeway Store’s Space –

Horning Brothers, Inc., which develops and manages apartments and retail centers throughout the Washington, DC region, today announced that is has closed on two leases for Dollar Tree and Fitness Evolution totaling 30,000 square feet at Addison Plaza, 6200 Central Avenue in Seat Pleasant, MD. With these two leases, the space formerly occupied by Safeway is now 75 percent leased.

.”With Safeway’s impending departure in July, it is important to keep this thriving neighborhood retail center vibrant. We are pleased to welcome these two retailers to Addison Plaza and expect to have the remaining available space of approximately 8,000 square feet leased soon,” said Horning Brothers President, David Roodberg.

Horning Brothers plans to reconfigure and modernize the space and refresh the former Safeway façade to accommodate the new retailers. Addison Plaza includes a range of national retailers including Game Stop, Domino’s Pizza, Subway, H&R Block, Rent A Center, Popeye’s and Taco Bell as well as several locally-owned stores..
