Cushman & Wakefield Represents ASB Real Estate Investments & MRP Realty

Cushman & Wakefield today announced that both Rio Tinto and Swiss Re have signed new leases at 900 G Street, NW Washington, DC. Cushman & Wakefield’s Phillip Thomas and Kerri Mulligan represented 900 G Street’s development venture, MRP and ASB Real Estate Investments (ASB). Only 10,136 square feet remain available for lease in the 112,635-square-foot building.

“We are thrilled to have both Rio Tinto and Swiss Re join the growing roster of prominent tenants at 900 G Street,” said ASB CEO and President Robert Bellinger. “Rio Tinto and Swiss Re are the perfect complements to our existing tenant base, which already includes Simpson Thacher, Truth Initiative, Herman Miller, BMW North America, Roberti Global and Bialek. We are incredibly proud of this building and think that the tremendous demand we have had from tenants speaks to the superior quality of the building, as well as the on-site amenities, in an amazing East End location.”

900 G Street is a newly delivered LEED Gold trophy office building located in the heart of the East End near the Verizon Center, National Portrait Gallery and a variety of hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues and transportation options, and is within two blocks of all five Metrorail lines. The building features a 2,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art fitness center and a 3,000-square-foot rooftop terrace with city views, a glass-enclosed conference room, catering kitchen and private restroom.

“We are pleased to be working on such an exceptional project,” said Mr. Thomas. “900 G Street is an excellent building, and we are very proud of the success we have had at 900 G Street, attracting some of the world’s top law firms and corporate end users to Washington, DC’s newest prestige address.”
