Global commercial real estate services firm Colliers International (NASDAQ:CIGI, TSX:CIG)today announced that veteran real estate leader James P. Crew has joined the firm to help grow its retail brokerage team in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Region.

Drawing on his extensive knowledge of the Washington, DC market and his exceptional leadership skills, Jim will grow our retail platform here in the region and deliver the real estate counsel that our clients seek,,” said David Parker, Regional Managing Director for Colliers International in Washington, DC.

Crew comes to Colliers International from CMB Property Company where he led the private equity company in acquiring multi-family and mixed-use properties in the Washington, DC and Charleston areas. Prior to that position, he served as an Asset Manager with American Realty Advisors, managing an office portfolio of more than one million square feet throughout the Washington, DC region. He served as Vice President / Asset Manager with Bentall Kennedy for nearly a decade where he leased and managed assets throughout Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, Boston, Detroit, Indianapolis and suburban Chicago. Prior to that he spent 15 years at CBRE where he was Managing Director of the Washington, DC office and led the region’s retail team.

Active in the community, Crew has participated in NAIOP, ICSC, Greater Washington Board of Trade and Rotary Club International.
