Greenberg Gibbons announced that it has acquired a majority interest in and has begun managing the St. Thomas Shopping Center, a 104,624 square-foot community shopping center in Owings Mills, Md.
St. Thomas Shopping Center is located on busy Reisterstown Road, adjacent to Foundry Row, the newly opened development that is also owned and managed by Greenberg Gibbons in partnership with Vanguard Retail Development. St. Thomas Shopping Center features Giant Foods, Lynne Brick’s Women’s Health & Fitness, M&T Bank, Wells Fargo, Starbucks and a mix of national and regional stores and restaurants. Greenberg Gibbons will manage and lease the property, with future plans to implement cosmetic upgrades and improvements to attract more quality shops and restaurants to the already successful retail lineup.
“St. Thomas Shopping Center was a natural expansion for us. It creates an opportunity to extend quality retail on the Reisterstown Road corridor, which is right in our own backyard,” said Brian Gibbons, Chairman and CEO of Greenberg Gibbons. “We are excited to add another Owings Mills center to our growing portfolio of properties.”
The St. Thomas Shopping Center was developed in the early 1980’s by St. Thomas Joint Venture. “We are pleased to partner with a successful local company like Greenberg Gibbons that has a great vison for the Owings Mills community” said Herbert Bank, Managing Member, St. Thomas Joint Venture.
