Tranlin Inc. has tapped international technical professional services firm Jacobs Engineering Group to develop plans for the construction of the company’s $2 billion paper manufacturing plant in Chesterfield County.
The Jacobs work will include preliminary engineering and design, as well as environmental permitting for the facility, according to a statement released Monday.

Peng, Tranlin’s chairman and CEO, in the statement. “This new award marks a major milestone for the project, and it highlights our commitment to building a world-class, eco-friendly production facility in Chesterfield County.”
