Cushman & Wakefield Recognized for Top Deal, Best Interiors and Best Marketing

Several of Cushman & Wakefield's Washington, DC Region professionals received recognition at Commercial Real Estate Women’s (CREW) Awards at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium last Thursday night.

“Congratulations to our team for their outstanding accomplishments and the recognition they received at the CREW Awards,” said Roberta Liss, Cushman & Wakefield’s Managing Principal, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. “We have incredible professionals who work hard to deliver the very best for our clients, and these awards are proof of that.”

Cushman & Wakefield’s team won in three categories:

Sherry Cushman won the Dealmaking Award for American Psychiatric Association (APA) at The Wharf. After an extensive three-year search, Cushman & Wakefield helped the APA identify the yet-to-be-built Wharf as its headquarters, making APA the first high-profile, anchor tenant for the project with its 63,000-square-foot lease.

Angela Poliskey of the firm’s Project Development Services team won Best Interiors Award for American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO). Cushman & Wakefield completed the interior design project for ASTRO’s new 22,594-square-foot headquarters in Crystal City, maximizing both space and aesthetics.

Tanya Graves and Carly Rebeiz won Best Marketing Award for The Wharf. Beginning with digital materials, Cushman & Wakefield developed a campaign that emphasized a ‘sense of space’ and then a ‘sense of place’ that established the yet-to-be-built project as a desirable option.

CREW’s 11th Annual Awards Gala recognizes and celebrates the achievements of some of the most accomplished and successful women and men in the Washington, DC commercial real estate industry. There are eight awards given in total – four are given in relation to specific projects, and four are individual honors.
