Avi Benus
IMPAQ International, LLC announced today the promotion of Avi Benus to Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Benus, who previously served as the President, succeeds Sharon Benus, the company's co-founder and previous CEO. Sharon Benus has assumed the role of Chairperson, IMPAQ International.
"Avi has a track record of leading innovation and growth at IMPAQ over the last seven years," said Sharon Benus. "This, combined with his business acumen and industry expertise, makes Avi exceptionally qualified to lead IMPAQ successfully into the future."
Mr. Benus joined IMPAQ in 2009 and has served as an executive overseeing finance and operations before his promotion to President in 2013.
"I feel privileged to take the next step forward and to lead IMPAQ as its CEO," said Mr. Benus. "I will continue to focus on the quality of our work and the positive impact it has on public programs and policy. My highest priority remains developing our staff and fostering the corporate culture that Sharon and Jacob Benus created and have promoted for the past 15 years."
Before joining IMPAQ, Mr. Benus worked for J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley. He holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. He and Liba Benus, his wife of 17 years, have four children and reside in Baltimore, MD.
