Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the signing of three leases totaling 15,817 square feet of retail space in the greater metropolitan Washington, DC market. Negotiations were handled through the Tysons Corner, Virginia office of DRE.

Alexandria Child Care Services leased 11,866 square feet of retail space located at 1000 Bernard Street in Alexandria, Virginia. The Kiddie Academy franchisee currently operates one other childcare center in Ashburn, Virginia. The lease negotiations were handled on behalf of the tenant by DRE’s Brandon Howard.

Fit Body Boot Camp leased 2,148 square feet of retail space in the San Souci Shopping Center located at 22599 MacArthur Boulevard in California, Maryland. Fit Body Boot Camp is home of the Afterburn Workouts - a group personal training program designed to give high energy, fun, and challenging workouts to burn maximum fat and tone the entire body in only 30 minutes. Joe Farina of Divaris Real Estate represented the tenant in the lease negotiations with the landlord, Cedar Realty Trust.

Neo Smiles, PLLC leased 1,803 square feet of retail space located at the Divaris-leased The Mark at Dulles Station located at 2323 Dulles Station Boulevard in Herndon, Virginia. This is the first location for a start-up dental group. The owner has worked as a dentist for many years in the Northern Virginia area. The negotiations were handled on behalf of the landlord, BET Investments, Inc., by Brandon Howard of the Washington, DC office of Divaris Real Estate. The Mark at Dulles Station is a 181,000 SF Class A luxury apartment building built in 2005. With 169 units, over 300 covered parking spaces and 15,838 SF of available ground floor retail space, The Mark at Dulles Station provides residents and retailers with an environment of convenience and luxury.
