HCA Virginia has named Zach McCluskey CEO of the 292-bed Johnston-Willis Hospital.

McCluskey — who most recently served as CEO of HCA Virginia’s Parham Doctors’ Hospital — will replace former CEO Brandon Haushalter, effective Dec. 19.

“I’m really excited to be working at Johnston-Willis,” McCluskey said. “It’s a great organization with tremendous respect for the quality outcomes in their community, an engaged medical staff and just an awesome group of employees, so it’s a perfect scenario for me.”

McCluskey will work below Greg Lowe, who was appointed CEO of Chippenham and Johnston-Willis Hospitals earlier this year. Lowe, who is stationed at Chippenham, oversees the coordination between the two hospital campuses and has the ultimate oversight of both, while McCluskey will be responsible solely for Johnston-Willis.
