The Cavalier Hotel won’t be ready by April as previously thought.
Restoring the 1927 hotel has been a more complicated and costly undertaking than originally planned, and once again, the grand opening will be delayed, developer Bruce Thompson told resort leaders Thursday.
The hotel could be ready for guests in the summer, Thompson, CEO of Gold Key | PHR, said at the Resort Advisory Commission meeting.
Renovations to the hotel at the Oceanfront’s North End began in March 2014. Thompson had originally estimated the hotel would open in spring 2016.
