A North Carolina-based oil company plans to open a warehouse and distribution center on six acres in Montvale following approval of a special-use permit Monday night by the Bedford County Board of Supervisors.
Sampson-Bladen Oil Company, Inc., based out of Clinton, North Carolina, intends to store petroleum, antifreeze, diesel exhaust fluid and other auto-related materials at the site.
Howell Clark, with Samson-Bladen, said he is excited about coming to Bedford and building in Montvale.
