There’s renewed hope for more jobs at the New River Valley Commerce Park, as local leaders work to land a company considering a facility there.
Crews plan to begin grading a 20-acre parcel at the Pulaski County site this year so it’s ready for construction.
Danny Wilson, director of the group of localities working together on the site, declined to name the potential employer. But he said the authority plans to spend $880,000 on the grading work, with $150,000 of that coming from a state GO Virginia grant.
