The ribbon-cutting ceremony held by Empower Chiropractic within the Fairfax Circle Shopping Center benefitted Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia (GOTR NOVA), with more than $500 raised by attendees of the event, which translates to four scholarships supporting local girls. The non-profit organization serves approximately 5,000 girls in elementary and middle school at more than 150 school-based sites across the local region. Empower Chiropractic is a new family chiropractic practice recently opened by the husband-wife team of Drs. Callan and Evan Lichtenauer.

“Drs. Callan and Evan have only been living and engaged within our community for a few months, so their commitment to and support of Girls on the Run is inspirational and they are truly making a difference with our program,” stated Emily Davis, Director of Development at Girls on the Run of NOVA. “Our participation at the event gave us the opportunity to expand our brand with local business leaders, and we received many generous direct donations. Every dollar will help local girls grow stronger and more confident.”

Empower Chiropractic is located at 9649 Fairfax Boulevard in Fairfax, Virginia. The Lichtenauer’s, recent graduates of LIFE University in Marietta, Georgia, relocated to the Northern Virginia region earlier this summer to establish the practice that utilizes the Torque Release Technique (TRT)that has been proven to correct the root cause of health care issues and consistently deliver life-changing results to patients.
