A former Virginia Beach school property could soon become a new apartment community.
Renaissance Apts. I L.P. bought in April for $4.5 million the vacant 10.6-acre tract at 273 N. Witchduck Rd. near the intersection of Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach. The seller in the deal was the Virginia Beach School Board.
The property was most recently assessed by the city at $3.6 million, according to online records.
Renaissance Apts. I L.P. is tied to The Franklin Johnston Group, a real estate firm in Virginia Beach. Franklin Johnston did not respond to a request for comment.
