Leading international law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented Franklin Park Infrastructure, a private equity fund manager, in its tax equity partnership with New Columbia Solar to finance a 30 MW solar project portfolio for Washington, DC-based projects in 2020 and 2021. This is the largest tax equity deal to date for distributed solar project investments in the area. The capacity added under this transaction will increase the District’s current capacity by 33%.

This transaction was completed on May 7, 2020.
