Howard County General Hospital Presents Mental Health First Aid

Howard County General Hospital will offer the following virtual Mental Health First Aid classes:

Mental Health First Aid for Adults will be held on Friday, Sept. 25 or Nov. 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Participants will learn to assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge in a self-paced online course before participating in an instructor-led class using Zoom. Class cost is $30 and includes a digital manual.

Youth Mental Health First Aid will be held on Friday, Oct. 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants will learn how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who may be experiencing a mental health or addiction challenge in a self-paced online course before participating in an instructor-led class using Zoom. Class is free and includes a digital manual.
